This is a collection of those individuals from all over the world and how we all see the world distinctly different. A reminder to embrace the Negative Space between us, not run from it.

Concrete Meadows by @davidaisy. Our first solo exhibition. David is the man behind our logo and the mad man in the lab helping House of Waves creatively. Concrete Meadows is collection of work inspired by film photos taken by David and writing involved with multi media paintings and will probably look nothing like the work we’re showing above. That’s why we love David. He’s done shows here since the early days of Kings Lens and Friends and his style is ever evolving. Join us Saturday, August 24th 5-9PM for our first gallery opening and see what Mr. Daisy has up his sleeves, cause we sure as hell don’t know.

WHALEBONE Takeover
Whalebone Creative takes over the shop August 16th-17th. Hailing from Montauk and maybe one of the last local establishments around. Jesse Joeckler has kept it core as it comes and continues for the past 10 years to be a pillar of the local Montauk community.

Gateway To Creative Writing Workshop
Taught by Sophie Burnham. Sophie is an author, screenwriter, and creator. With her first published book coming out this October, Sophie looks to the House of Waves to share the art of creative writing.
The workshop includes your own H.O.W. journal and writing utensil, designed for writers of all levels eager to explore and enhance their storytelling skills in a comfortable setting. Sophie will guide us through various dynamic excersies while exploring different themes and ways to break through barriers and on to paper.
